The Institute For Family Enrichment,LLC
The Institute for Family Enrichment provides services to students with disabilities in our public schools. Our services include Behavioral Intensive Support Services (BISS), Parent Trainers (PT), and Paraprofessionals (Para). We work collaboratively with schools to assist students with special needs in achieving goals of their Individualized Education Plan (IEP)..
In addition to classrooms, these services are also provided in a family’s home or in the community to generalize the student’s skills beyond the school setting.
Early intervention services may include developmental assessments which address developmental delays in areas such as physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional and adaptive skills and abilities. These services are provided in the home, preschool, daycare and community settings.
The Institute for Family Enrichment provides mental health services for children and adolescents with serious emotional and behavioral disorders. Our providers work with teams. Teams include a child’s school, family, and other individuals or agencies that help the child reach his goals. Services are provided in homes and communities.
The Institute for Family Enrichment provides transitional supports and behavioral health services for adults returning to the community from skilled nursing facilities. The goal is to help individuals to adjust and have successful transitions to home settings.
TIFFE provides an array of services for persons with developmental disabilities on the Big Island, in the home and community. TIFFE staff work with a clients’ team of providers to develop a plan to provide training and consultation to address behavioral, social and/or communication challenges. For more information on these services, please contact Lea Cotter-Antczak or Dr. Linda Fox.
