Announcement

Aloha Healthy Start:
TIFFE is in the process of developing a new training delivery system to meet
your needs in regards to the new contract beginning July 1, 2008. In
consultation with MCHB, we are excited about this new training delivery
system. The new system should cut cost and time for training without
compromising quality.

We are suspending the current July to December training calendar posted on
the website except the JULY CORE FSW TRAINING because this new training
system is very different from the existing training schedule. We will have a
draft plan and an August to December training calendar ready by the Health
Start Network meeting scheduled for July 16th for your feedback and
comments. Please take the appropriate action to notify your staff that the
current HS training calendar is cancelled except for the July Core FSW
training. Enclosed with this email, is a list of the registered participants
scheduled to attend July's Core FSW training.

Also, please remind all admin staff that if participants are unable to
attend a training that they must give a 48 hours notification, so that other
participants may attend in their place.

Mahalo Nui Loa,
TIFFE Healthy Start Team
