CLINICAL SERVICES FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS:

The Institute for Family Enrichment provides services to children birth to 20 years of age and school-aged children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or Significant Mental Retardation through contracts with the Hawai'i Department of Education and the Hawai'i Department of Health.  The programs employ a team approach, providing trained consultants and skills trainers to work with the child, family and other team members, including teachers, advocates, and counselors. Parent counseling and therapeutic recreation services may also be provided under the Individual Education Plan.

The Institute For Family Enrichment also provides a wide range of emotional and behavioral health services to children with other special needs. Including:

  • School-Based Individual, Family, and Group Services
  • Psychiatric Assessment and medication Management Services
  • Psycho-educational and Consultation Services
