TIFFE MISSION STATEMENT:
The Institute For Family Enrichment (TIFFE) exists to provide
innovative responses to societal problems in Hawaii having impact on
children and families. TIFFE's mission is to provide training,
consultation, educational programs, and therapeutic services
designed to improve the quality of personal, family, and
professional relationships.
TIFFE BIG ISLAND:
TIFFE began providing services to Big Island families in Hilo in
1993 as the charter provider of Intensive Home-Based Family
Preservation services on Hawai'i and opened its Kealakekua office in
1994.
In the past decade TIFFE's services have grown to include a
comprehensive array of child and family services island-wide,
including:
- Intensive and Community-Based Services
- Training and Education
- Services to Children with Autism
- Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Psychological Testing
- School-Based Individual, Family, and Group Services
- Psychiatric Services
- Psycho-educational and Consultation Services
- Clinical Counseling
- Medicaid and Waiver Services / Developmental Disabilities
In addition, TIFFE provides Multi-Systemic Therapy and Mobile
Outreach Services in West Hawai'i. TIFFE Big Island staff include:
- Licensed Psychiatrists
- Licensed Clinical Psychologists
- Licensed and Nationally Certified Social Workers
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists
- Autism Services Consultants
- Skills Trainers
